With over 14 years of experience in elite athletic training, Nicole Gabriel is the founder and Performance Director of Nicole Gabriel Training (NGT). Passionate about optimizing athletic performance, she specializes in helping athletes reach their peak potential through science-backed techniques and individualized training.
Nicole’s approach goes beyond traditional training—she educates athletes on how their bodies are designed to function, ensuring they move with purpose, efficiency, and power. Her customized programs take into account each athlete’s body mechanics, sport, position, team dynamics, and even playing time, creating a tailored roadmap to success.
Under her leadership, NGT focuses on enhancing movement efficiency, reducing injury risk, and maximizing on-field performance. By combining cutting-edge training methods with personalized coaching, Nicole helps athletes build long-term resilience and achieve excellence in their sport.
Meet Coach Johnny O’Brien
Coach Johnny brings a unique blend of discipline, leadership, and athletic performance expertise to Nicole Gabriel Training. A U.S. Army veteran with three years of service, he later dedicated seven years to law enforcement in Tampa, honing his skills in teamwork, resilience, and physical conditioning.
A graduate of the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science degree, Coach Johnny combines his academic background with real-world experience to help athletes unlock their full potential. As a Performance Coach at NGT for the past two years, he is committed to executing NGT training programs that enhance strength, speed, and overall athletic performance.
With a passion for coaching and a dedication to excellence, Coach Johnny empowers athletes to push their limits and achieve peak performance both on and off the field.
Meet Coach Drew Oldham
Drew Oldham is a performance coach with a strong foundation in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and athletic development. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Exercise Science, specializing in Performance Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Science, and also holds a minor in Psychology.
Drew began his post-graduate career with three years in physical therapy, laying the groundwork for physical therapy school before ultimately transitioning into performance training. His hands-on experience includes internships focused on speed development, sprint mechanics, and lower chain efficiency, particularly with NFL Combine athletes.
He most recently served as the Director of Performance Training at Summers Method, where he led programs across multiple sports. Over the past eight years, Drew has trained athletes from a variety of backgrounds, with a specialized focus on baseball and softball performance.
Meet Coach Zach Wagoner
Coach Zach is passionate about the respect, discipline, and knowledge that drive sports performance. As a former college athlete, he fell in love with the process of improvement and the commitment required to become a better player. Now, he’s dedicated to sharing that experience and helping the sports community grow like never before.
A graduate of Webber International University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Performance, Coach Zach brings fresh, science-backed insights to elevate athletic development. His goal is to set new standards within the sports community, pushing athletes beyond their limits and unlocking their full potential.
With a strong focus on dedication, consistency, and integrity, Coach Zach is committed to shaping the culture at NGT—developing not only elite athletes but also well-rounded individuals who excel both on and off the field.
